Feng Wei and I met in a small, hidden coffeeshop near Jiaodaokou in Beijing. He ran the coffeeshop with his wife, N. Unfortunately the coffeeshop is closed now. Feng Wei is also the bandleader of SeeSaw Jazz Quartet, a jazz band that plays 温柔 (soft) jazz with influence of Chinese music. I photographed several of their concerts and produced a video of one of their songs, Sunshine Plaza.
